Dentist in charge
Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1995, son of two parents who worked in the watchmaking industry, he discovered the value of manual and meticulous work at a very early age, through a number of “summer jobs” during his teenage years. It was at this time that he realised he wanted to work in a profession where the hand and the mind work together. Dr Mario Miceli grew up in a world where patience and attention to detail were part of everyday life.
His choice of dentistry was no accident. The worlds of watchmaking and dentistry may seem far apart at first glance, but they share many similarities: extreme precision, demanding manual work, the use of comparable instruments – microscopes, magnifying glasses, precelles – and rapid technological development in the service of quality and durability. The influence of his parents and this environment naturally led him down this path.
Dr. Mario Miceli continued his studies at the University of Geneva, where he obtained his university diploma in dentistry in 2020, as well as the federal diploma awarded by the OFSP. Driven by a constant desire to improve his skills, he then continued his training through a number of continuing education courses in Europe in different areas of dentistry, in order to offer his patients comprehensive and coherent care.
In 2022, he embarked on an in-depth course in endodontics (root canal treatment) at the University of Turin, followed by a MAS in aesthetic and micro-invasive dentistry at the University of Geneva, graduating in 2025.
Today, Dr Mario Miceli’s practice is attentive, understanding and patient-centred. He favours a personalised approach that respects the biology of each tooth, convinced that minimally invasive treatments offer the best balance between effectiveness and long-term benefits.
His areas of expertise include conservative dentistry, aesthetic treatments, and comprehensive care, all delivered with a philosophy that respects the natural beauty of the smile and long-term oral health.
